Pinot Noir New Zealand 2025 is set to take place in Christchurch from 11-13 February, after an eight-year hiatus.
The event is an opportunity to meet passionate Pinot Noir producers from around New Zealand’s winegrowing regions, and listen to experts from within our own shores, and from around the world.
Pinot Noir New Zealand 2025 is a way to find out firsthand why New Zealand Pinot Noir is so distinctive and what makes us so proud of our wines that can be found in just about every corner of the world.
Rigorous site selection, always a crucial factor in producing outstanding wine, will see Pinot Noir NZ 2025 take place in Ōtautahi Christchurch.
This is the first time the event will be held in New Zealand’s South Island, a beautiful destination for visitors.
Day 1 is all about Place – reconnection to our land, our past, our people, our tūrangawaewae (a place to stand). How place impacts who we are as New Zealanders. How we have been shaped by our ancestry, and how our connection to place underpins unique New Zealand Pinot Noir.
Day 2 is all about Care – future considerations for the heath, and livelihood of our place, Kaitiakitanga (guardianship), and what this means to our wine community and how this is woven into everything we do.
Day 3 is all about The Time to Come – what’s next and ā Mua (the time to come). This day will provide a commercial lens on New Zealand Pinot Noir and the opportunities waiting on the world’s stage. This day is bookended by our two major tastings, ‘Inspiration’ and ‘Aspiration’.
